This Privacy Policy applies to the website www.geyontech.com , including its on-site AI assistant, gear selection tool and enquiry channels. The website is operated by Dongguan Geyon Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to below as “we”, “us”).

2. What information we collect#

Information you submit. When you send an enquiry or use the gear selection tool, or when you contact us by email or through the on-site assistant, we receive the name, email address, company name and message you provide, together with any technical parameters and drawings you send us.
On-site assistant conversations. The content of your conversation with our on-site AI assistant is stored on our servers so that we can answer your question and improve the service.
Technical information. To keep the service running and to prevent misuse, our servers record the technical information necessary for access and rate limiting (such as a session identifier, IP address and access time).
This website does not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking scripts.

3. How we use the information#

To reply to your enquiry, issue quotations and discuss technical solutions with you;
To provide production, logistics and after-sales support related to your orders;
To keep the website and the assistant service secure and stable, including rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We do not sell or rent your information.
Where it is necessary in order to quote or to manufacture, we provide only the technical data required for a specific process to the partner workshop that performs that process, and we require that workshop to keep it confidential.
We disclose information only where required by law or by a competent authority acting under law.

5. Retention#

Enquiry and business correspondence records are kept for 3 years; assistant conversation records are kept for 12 months. After that period the information is deleted or anonymised.

6. Cookies and local storage#

This website uses only the small amount of local storage needed for it to function (for example language and theme preference, and a session identifier for the assistant). It does not use third-party advertising cookies.

You may contact us at any time using the address below to access, correct or request the deletion of the personal information we hold about you.

8. Where the information is stored#

Our servers are located in China (including Hong Kong) and the information may be processed within China.
